The Mercedes EQA will arrive in 2020 and will be produced in France
The expected Mercedes EQA will be the model that occupies the position of access to the Mercedes EQ electric car family where the brand of the stars is working. In no time, the first production model, the Mercedes EQC (an SUV), will be released, which is set for next October at the Paris Motor Show 2018.
Anticipated by the Mercedes EQA Concept presented during the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017, the future EQA will be a five-door Hatchback body compact. Another key to the Mercedes EQA will be its size. It will have a long wheelbase and short overhangs. It will be longer than the new generation of the Mercedes Class A. Recall that the renewed Mercedes compact has a length of 4,419 mm. In addition, the interior will also be more spacious thanks to the battle that the EQA will have. All this taking into account the segment in which this electric car will move.
Regarding the mechanical section of the Mercedes EQA, highlight that will make use of two electric motors. One located under the hood while the other will be integrated into the rear axle. Combined they will throw a power of 272 HP that will allow you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in about 5 seconds. It will have a total traction configuration and the 60 kWh lithium-ion battery pack will give it a range of 400 kilometres. The Mercedes EQA can be recharged in a traditional way or through induction.
