Nissan to present new electric vehicle at Beijing Motor Show
Although it does not give details of the characteristics of this new concept at the moment, Nissan presents it as an intermediate model between the new Leaf, available since the beginning of the year in Europe, and the IMx (picture below). above), a concept revealed last October in Tokyo and foreshadowing the future 100% electric crossover of the brand.
For Nissan, this new model will meet the “growing demand” for electric cars in China and is part of its MOVE 2022 plan. Presented in 2017 and updated in March this year, it plans to no less than 8 new electric vehicles and an acceleration of the manufacturer’s presence in China, particularly via the eGT New Energy Automotive joint venture launched in August 2017 with Dongfeng.
At the Beijing Motor Show, where it will hold its press conference on April 25, Nissan will also showcase its ePower technology, already successfully deployed on Note and Serena in Japan.
